IBM Becomes a Marketing Partner of Facebook

Transnational at IBM, one of the world's largest suppliers of hardware software, combined with the global social network for providing advertisers with new opportunities opening up as a result of integration of the two platforms.
According to representatives of IBM, the company will now be able to buy advertising on "Facebook" with the combined data that will provide social services and IBM's Marketing Cloud (the latter includes such user information as weather, location and history of orders). In addition, marketers will be able to enjoy their work campaign, created on the basis of "Facebook" to carry them anywhere they desire.
At the moment, it has already formed an impressive ecosystem of advertisers who effectively used the tools of social network advertising, but Jay Henderson, Director of the Commercial Division, IBM, on the question of what is the advantage of partnership between the two Internet giants, said that "Facebook" - is the first company who joined  IBM's THINKLab , where employees from both corporations can work with customers to create advertising campaigns that focus on personal shopping experience.
"To date, no company does this with the" Facebook "," - says Henderson.
